The challenge
Landmark Underwriting required a comprehensive security solution for a new development at Leadenhall Market in the City of London. The ground floor was to operate as a public-facing retail and cafe unit, with the upper floors hosting a secure private office environment. Managing the security boundary between a high-footfall, publicly accessible cafe and a controlled-access professional office is not straightforward.
What we did
SEG Core conducted a thorough on-site audit before a single product was specified. Verkada's tailgating detection was central to the solution: on-device AI monitors entry events and flags unauthorised access in real time, removing the need for a staffed security desk at every transition point. The project also extended well beyond the security brief — SEG Core were engaged across the full office fit-out, from workstations and desking through to structured cabling, enterprise-grade Wi-Fi, internet connectivity and firewall configuration.
