Two halves of the same job
A security installation is two jobs pretending to be one. There is the platform — the design, the configuration, the roles, the retention, the integrations — and there is the building: containment, cable routes, power, fire doors, working at height in an occupied office.
Most Verkada resellers are strong on the first and have to bring somebody in for the second. Most electrical contractors are the other way round. We are inside The Specialist Electrical Group, so both halves are ours, on one programme and one invoice.
The practical version: nobody says “power by others”, nobody is waiting on a second contractor, and when something does not work there is one number to ring.
How we work
- Survey before design. No camera position is decided from a floor plan.
- Say what it costs. Hardware, licence and installation as three separate numbers, with the renewal date written down.
- Say what you don't need. A targeted sensor deployment is a smaller order than a blanket one. We will still recommend it.
- An engineer answers. Not a script, and not a ticket queue.

Wherever the building is
Recent projects run from Leadenhall Market and Marble Arch to Oxford, the Surrey Hills, Buckinghamshire and Coatbridge in North Lanarkshire, and estates as large as nine offices from Marlow to Glasgow on one programme.
The office is SEG House in Chiswell Green, St Albans, which is where the vans start from and why response into London and the surrounding counties is quickest. It is not a boundary.
