Home / Command

One login. Every site. Every device.

Command is the platform underneath all of it. If you only take one thing from this website, take this: the value is not in any single camera, it is in never having to log into a second system again.

What it does

The console is the product

A camera is a camera. What decides whether a security system gets used is whether finding something takes twenty seconds or a phone call to a contractor.

Everything in one place

Cameras, doors, intercoms, alarms and sensors across every site, in a browser, with no VPN.

  • No client software to install
  • Works on any modern browser
  • Mobile app for the same account
  • New sites enrol into the same console

People and permissions

Roles rather than shared logins, so the site manager sees their building and nobody has the password to everything.

  • Role-based access
  • Per-site and per-device scoping
  • SSO with Microsoft or Google
  • An audit trail of who viewed what

Maintained for you

Firmware, security patching and device health are the platform's job, and monitoring them is ours.

  • Automatic firmware
  • Device health alerts
  • Offline device notifications
  • Nothing to patch on site
How it works

How we run it with you

Managed means we hold the platform. Your team asks for changes; they do not administer it.

1

Set up properly

Sites, roles, retention, alerting and naming conventions decided at design rather than left at default.

2

Trained on the day

The people who will actually use it, shown the three things they will do every week, not a tour of every menu.

3

Managed after

Users, credentials, permission changes and joiners and leavers handled by us on request.

4

Reviewed

Device health watched, and a periodic look at whether the retention and the alerting still match what the business needs.

Connectivity

When the site has no network — or none you'd trust

Command assumes an internet connection. These are the pieces we specify when there isn't one, or when the alarm path needs to survive a cut line.

The Verkada GC31 indoor cellular gateway

GC31

Indoor cellular gateway — 4G backup so a site stays reporting when the broadband doesn't.

The Verkada GC31-E outdoor cellular gateway

GC31-E

The outdoor version — connectivity at the gate, the yard or the mast.

Security trailer

A towable solar mast carrying cameras and a strobe — connectivity and power included.

What it looks like

One console, on whatever is in front of you

Cameras, doors, intercoms, alarms and sensors in one browser tab — the same account on the laptop at the desk and the phone in a pocket.

Verkada Command — every device on the estate, one login, no VPN.
The hardware side

A browser, and one box in the rack

Command runs in a browser with nothing to install. The Command Connector is the only piece of on-site hardware, and only where existing cameras are being brought in.

Why us

What makes this different

Shared logins disappear

The most common security hole in a CCTV system is one password everyone knows. Roles fix it, and the audit trail proves it.

Naming conventions matter more than you think

“Camera 14” is useless at 2am. We name devices by what they see, and it is worth the hour it takes.

Your estate grows into it

Refeyn added a site mid-project and can enrol US locations later with no new infrastructure. The console does not care where a device is.

Somebody watches the health

Devices go offline quietly. We monitor for it, so the first you hear is us telling you, not an incident you cannot review.

FAQ

Common questions

Is it a subscription?
Yes. Each device carries a licence, bought in terms — typically one, three, five or ten years, with the longer terms cheaper per year. That licence is what includes the cloud, the firmware and the support. We will set the numbers out in writing at quote.
What happens when the licence ends?
The camera keeps recording locally but you lose the cloud console, which is most of the value. Nobody should be surprised by this, so we put the renewal date and cost in the handover pack.
Who owns the footage?
You do. It is your data. We hold administrative access to manage the platform on your behalf, and you can revoke it.
Can our IT team have access?
Yes, with whatever role you want them to have. Plenty of clients run it themselves day to day and call us for changes and faults.
Does it need anything on our network?
Outbound HTTPS and PoE for the devices. No inbound ports, no VPN and no static IP, which is why it passes an IT review that traditional CCTV usually fails.

Ready to see it on your own building?

Book a no-obligation site survey. We'll walk it, tell you what the system actually needs, and put a fixed price against a documented design.
