What we collect

When you use the enquiry form: your name, company, email, phone and whatever you tell us. We use it to answer you and, if you become a client, to deliver the work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you sent us. The form is handled by our hosting platform, Netlify, which acts as our processor: submissions are stored in our Netlify account and emailed to us, and Netlify may process the data outside the UK under its published safeguards.

When you read a page: the page, the time, the referring site and an approximate town and organisation derived from your IP address, so we can understand which organisations and areas are interested in what we do. The IP address itself is not kept. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, and we have completed a written assessment of that balance.

We do not build profiles of individuals, and no visitor is ever contacted as a result of, or in reference to, a website visit.

What we don't do

No cookies, no localStorage and no fingerprinting — nothing is stored on or read from your device, which is why this site has no cookie banner.

No advertising networks, no data brokers, no selling or sharing of anything.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is recorded at all.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: for as long as we are in contact, and then for six years where a contract resulted, to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Visit records: twelve months, deleted automatically.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to the processing. Email hello@segcore.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
