Installation
How we install the AD64
Door hardware, cabling, power and the fire alarm interface are all done by our own electricians, so one contractor is responsible for the door working. We set up doors, schedules and credentials in Command and train whoever manages them.

AD64 questions
What licence does the AD64 need?
Verkada licenses the door, not the reader: the door licence on the controller covers it. Mobile NFC credentials take an optional licence per 20 users. All the licences in one Command organisation share one renewal date.
Can you add a AD64 to my existing Verkada system?
Yes. It joins your existing Command organisation, and its licence co-terms with the rest, so you still have one renewal date. We work on systems whoever installed them.
Do you just supply the AD64, or install it too?
Either. Most customers have us survey, supply and install, but we can supply for your own installer after checking the model and licence are right for the job.
