Installation

How we install the CH52-E

We survey the position first: the distance to what matters, the light at the worst time of day, and the cable route. Then we choose the storage size for the retention you need, mount and aim the camera, and set up alerts and users in Command.

Other camera models: CD22, CD32, CD43, CD53, CD63, CM22, CM42, CM42-S. See all on Verkada cameras or the model guide.

FAQ

CH52-E questions

What licence does the CH52-E need?
One four-sensor multisensor licence (LIC-CAM-MLT4), in a 1, 3, 5 or 10-year term. Extra cloud storage is counted per sensor, so it takes four. All the licences in one Command organisation share one renewal date.
How much footage does the CH52-E keep?
With the smallest storage option (1TB) it keeps about 30 days at standard quality; the largest (8TB) keeps about 365 days. Retention depends on resolution and settings, so we size it to what you need to keep. Cloud backup and longer cloud retention are available too.
Is the CH52-E still supported?
Yes. Verkada supports it until 1 February 2036, and its licence can still be renewed. Renewal time is a sensible moment to plan the move to the CH53-E.
Can you replace my CH52-Es?
Yes. We survey what you have, recommend the current equivalent position by position, and swap them over with minimal downtime.
