Installation

How we install the CB63-E

We survey the position first: the distance to what matters, the light at the worst time of day, and the cable route. Then we choose the storage size for the retention you need, mount and aim the camera, and set up alerts and users in Command.

Other camera models: CD22, CD32, CD43, CD53, CD63, CM22, CM42, CM42-S. See all on Verkada cameras or the model guide.

FAQ

CB63-E questions

What licence does the CB63-E need?
One standard camera licence, bought in a 1, 3, 5 or 10-year term. All the licences in one Command organisation share one renewal date.
How much footage does the CB63-E keep?
With the smallest storage option (512GB) it keeps about 30 days at standard quality; the largest (3TB) keeps about 120 days. Retention depends on resolution and settings, so we size it to what you need to keep. Cloud backup and longer cloud retention are available too.
Can you add a CB63-E to my existing Verkada system?
Yes. It joins your existing Command organisation, and its licence co-terms with the rest, so you still have one renewal date. We work on systems whoever installed them.
Do you just supply the CB63-E, or install it too?
Either. Most customers have us survey, supply and install, but we can supply for your own installer after checking the model and licence are right for the job.
